Three Online Affiliate Marketing Myths

Successful affiliate marketing is all about effective advertising strategies and good marketing practices. There are tips, which have been distributed as a "proven to be effective in online marketing and are being used to see good results in online affiliate marketing" but the fact is, they do the opposite of what they promise.

Three Online Affiliate Marketing Myths

1. Use different web pages to promote different products. It is advised not to put all the information on one page in order to save money on web hosting. A website focusing on each product will be an effective tool in product promotion.

It is better to include product reviews on the site to give the visitors an idea of the effectiveness of the product. It will also be a good idea to include testimonials from those who have used the products. Testimonials along with photos and names on the site will be an added advantage.

The fact is people give a damn to your reviews and your articles, they prefer all info in your first page. They will only stay with your website if they find something interesting in the first page.Your home page must be full of info.

and ya,dont talk about testimonials,we all know that they are fake :)

2. Offer free reports to the visitors. It will be a good idea to mention them at the very topside of the page so that they are not missed. Create auto responder messages to be mailed to those who fill in their personal information in the sign up box. Successful affiliate marketing involves effective advertising. Promotional e- mails are a good option for online advertising.

Let it be clear, people do not buy from your reports, they know that these reports are a piece of junk.Giving free reports to your visitors proves that your site have nothing to offer.Instead create a forum and discuss with your visitors about your products.Visitors will be happy to discuss with you about yours and theirs problems

3. Write articles in e-zines and e- reports. This will help you find publications, target groups and what to put up on your site to create interest.

Try writing about 2 articles of 300-600 words per week. Continuously writing articles can direct readers to your site daily. On an average one out of every hundred people are most likely to buy the product or service. If you generate about 1000 target hits, you can make about ten sales on an average.

Well, how many articles will you write ? 8 per month,96 per year.Say all of your articles generate 1000 hits, that's 960 sales.Right ?? 960 sales per year means 430 dollars commission per year.I am not working for 430 dollars/yr,i am into affiliate marketing for 4300 dollars(min)/yr.

If you listen to my advice, don't write articles.Instead create something new.Say some very small software, quiz or puzzle series, image creatives ... whatever you want but create something different and people will be attracted to your website.Keep on creating such innovative products, visitors will return to your site and slowly but steadily they will build a relationship with your site. That is when they will believe in your recommendations and buy from them.:)

With a little planning and these marketing tips you can really be successful in your online affiliate marketing, that off-course is not a myth.
